At Larry H. Miller in Peoria, we love any excuse to take a look at some Dodge history. Fortunately for us, today is Thursday, so we can do just that. That's right, it's Throwback Thursday, and today we're bringing you this awesomely campy commercial for the 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T.

The Challenger was Dodge's answer to two other popular muscle cars already on the market. The first generation Challenger (1970 - 1974) was noted for offering eight engine options, from a 3.7-liter six-cylinder up to a 7.0-liter Hemi V-8 with a roaring 425 horsepower.

After 1983, the Challenger name experienced a 25-year long hiatus. However, in 2008 it came back stronger than ever, and has continued to get better. We have large inventory of new Challengers, including SXT, R/T, R/T Plus, Scat Pack, and Shaker packages. If you're looking to add some muscle to your garage, come visit us for a test drive, today. We would love to assist you.
