You know when Dodge decides to enter a market, that they're going to muscle their way to the top of the competition - and that's just what they've done with the compact utility vehicle class. The all-new 2023 Dodge Hornet GT is entering the field as the most powerful compact utility vehicle under $30K. The Hornet's distinctive Dodge styling and driver-focused design are home to a 2-liter Turbo inline-4 delivering 265 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque and making 0-60 mph in 6.5 seconds.
Of course, that's just the beginning - you'll soon be introduced to the Hornet R/T which will be Dodge's first electrified performance vehicle with extra power and additional class-exclusive features - but more about that at a later date.
The Dodge Hornet is packed with features for driving fun, but in case you get carried away, there are built-in features to keep your passengers from opting out of your next adventure ride. Not only does the Hornet come with standard all-wheel-drive, but also standard is the class-exclusive Koni frequency selective damping shocks, best-in-class front and rear fully independent suspension to help smooth things out, and best-in-class dynamic torque vectoring to optimize stability. Also, to keep everybody snug in the curves, and add some panache, you have class-exclusive racing-style Alcantara seats available with the Track Pack optional package. And for real attitude, you can opt for available red leather seats.
Finally, your Hornet is eligible for factory-backed performance upgrades available through Dodge Direct Connection; exclusively available through Dodge Power Brokers like Larry H. Miller Dodge Peoria.
A suite of advanced driver safety assistance tech comes standard on the Hornet, from auto emergency braking and blind spot warning, to rear cross-traffic warnings, lane drift warnings and parking sensors that work with the backup camera guidelines. In addition, the optional Tech Pack offers adaptive cruise control, lane-centering assistance, traffic sign recognition and more.
Hornet infotainment equipment features a 10.25-inch touchscreen interface and a best-in-class 12.3-inch customizable digital gauge cluster with 3 info-zones. Dodge's Uconnect 5 offers remote connectivity for locking/unlocking and remote engine start and offers wireless iPhone and Android smart phone connectivity.
