The all-new 2023 Dodge Hornet GT is entering the field as the most powerful compact utility vehicle under $30K. The Hornet's distinctive Dodge styling and driver-focused design are home to a 2-liter Turbo inline-4 delivering 265 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. of torque and making 0-60 mph in 6.5 seconds.

Of course, that's just the beginning - you'll soon be introduced to the Hornet R/T which will be Dodge's first electrified performance vehicle with extra power and additional class-exclusive features - but more about that at a later date.

Feature-packed; Head of the Class

The Dodge Hornet is packed with features for driving fun, but in case you get carried away, there are built-in features to keep your passengers from opting out of your next adventure ride. Not only does the Hornet come with standard all-wheel-drive, but also standard is the class-exclusive Koni frequency selective damping shocks, best-in-class front and rear fully independent suspension to help smooth things out, and best-in-class dynamic torque vectoring to optimize stability. What is the difference between SRT Hellcat Redeye and SRT Super Stock?

Besides the small difference in hp (the Super Stock's 807 hp edges out the Hellcat Redeye by only 10hp), the Super Stock is a drag racing build. It has smaller 18" wheels with stickier Nitto tires for better traction. It also has smaller brakes discs, which is important to consider for street driving. The Redeye rides on 20" wheels and comes with Pirelli all-season tires. The Redeye is the most powerful Challenger not built for the drag strip. The Super Stock has a 3.09 gear ratio, while the Redeye allows opting between 3.09 or 2.62 gearing ratios. Some drivers prefer the 2.62 for street driving.
