Gone are the days of bare-bones supercars. Those premier models from last century that were purely performance-focused, leaving the cabin to be decorated merely with seats, a shifter and maybe a radio that you would need to blast at top volume in order to hear over the throaty exhaust. Now, pretty much all vehicles from subcompact economy cars to commercial trucks have high-tech features and contemporary conveniences in them.
Take the Dodge Viper, for example. This sports car boasts a standard electronics interface that includes an 8.4-inch touchscreen complete with the brand's Uconnect® infotainment system. Both Bluetooth and voice-activated navigation come standard as well, not to mention a 12-speaker sound system that will certainly come in handing when you're opening up that naturally aspirated V10 engine on the highway.
To see where the sports coupe came from, we've included a retro review of the 1993 Viper from the experts over at MotorWeek. You can get an eyeful of this early model in the video below, and then you can learn more about the 2015 redesign from the sales team here at Larry H. Miller Dodge Peoria.
